Car Crashes Into American Way In Cookeville

A car drove through the back of the American Way Real Estate building in Cookeville Sunday morning.

Cookeville Police and the Cookeville Fire Department responded to a silver sedan drove through the American Way parking lot near South Jefferson Avenue in front of the shops at Cumberland Station.

At the scene, tire marks could be found in the American Way parking lot leading up to the building.

Officers on the scene stated more information will be available Monday as crews continue to assess the damage.
