In 2017, I had the opportunity to create a new identity from scratch as an intern for WLOH Radio in Lancaster, OH.

The station already had two frequencies with 104.1 FM in Lancaster and 99.3 FM in nearby Logan. However, the Lancaster would soon be changing to 104.5 FM while a third frequency in New Lexington was in the works.

The station wanted to adopt a wolf moniker but didn’t want an identity that would “scare small children,” as I was told.

New Wolf Country branding launched in 2018 for WLOH Radio in Lancaster, OH.

Fast forward to the end of the internship and the above design was created. The brand launched in 2018 along with the new 102.9 FM frequency in New Lexington later that year.

The design also appears on various sales documents and media kits used to pitch advertising packages to clients.

Prior to launching the New Lexington frequency, the station partnered with Matt Taylor Kia in Lancaster to create the ‘Wolf Mobile decked out with Wolf and Matt Taylor branding.
