LANCASTER – Authorities tased and arrested a man at the North Memorial Drive Circle K Sunday following a hostage situation.
According to an arrest report from Lancaster Police, officers received a call around 12:31 p.m.
The suspect, identified as 40-year-old John Orsborn, of Lancaster, allegedly threatened to take individuals hostage and announced he had a gun.
When officers arrived on-scene, at least one employee was spotted in the building behind the counter.
According to the report, Orsborn walked outside through the front door, where he was tased, fell to the ground, and placed under arrest.
Orsborn was not armed when he exited the building. He faces one count of second-degree robbery plus two counts of aggravated menacing and inducing panic, both first-degree misdemeanors.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
